THE Bangladeshi Women Entrepreneur Forum hosted their annual culture fair at Rylands Primary School on Sunday, August 11, drawing attendees from across Cape Town. This vibrant event celebrates Bangladeshi culture, offering a unique experience for all who attend.
Nitu Khan, one of the organisers, highlighted the inclusive nature of the fair, stating, ‘The event attracts Bangladeshis from all over Cape Town, and we warmly invite everyone to join us in celebrating our culture.’
The fair featured a variety of traditional foods, including the popular bapa pitah, breyani seasoned with Bangladeshi spices, nokshi pita, and paani puri. Attendees also enjoyed an array of sweet treats, making it a day filled with delicious flavours and cultural richness.
The culture fair is more than just a showcase of food—it’s a celebration of heritage, bringing the community together to share and enjoy the rich traditions of Bangladesh.
