Rylands Cricket Club, based at the AW Mukuddem based in Hazel Road, Rylands appoints a new head coach.

Rylands Cricket Club have appointed Mujahid Behardien as their new head.
‘I’m excited to be joining the leadership team at Rylands cricket club. The transition from player to coach is both exhilarating and humbling. As a player, I’ve experienced the highs and lows on the field, and now I’m ready to channel that passion into guiding our team toward success in this new role. The management and coaching side of things has always intrigued me, and I’m eager to contribute my insights and strategies.’
‘Our club has a solid foundation, exceptional talent, and a hunger for victory. With the structure now in place, I’m confident that we’ll achieve great things together. Whether it’s tactical adjustments, player development, and building on the culture we already have, I’m committed to returning Rylands cricket club to its prior glory Inshallah/God willing,’ said Behardien.
Coach Nadeem Ahmed, together with Ziyaad Parker, will join the leadership team focusing on sharing their expertise in a consulting and recruitment role.
