As a member you will help sustain this legacy. And you immediately become eligible to receive our free content. And you will also receive updates and notifications of our events and programmes, some of them in partnership with other organisations and companies.
Whilst you are not required to pay for our content, we ask you to make a voluntary contribution.
Why make a voluntary contribution?
Independent journalism is not cheap. It is a valued institution that can no longer be sustained by advertising revenue alone. Leading news organisations globally are increasingly compelled to turn to their readers for support.
For this reason we call on you to support our mission to deliver more and better content in print, online and on social media. This includes our forthcoming newsletter which will offer original content for a local and a global audience.

Our standard appeal is for a contribution of at least R150 per month. However, you may contribute any amount, be it once off, monthly or annually.
Your contribution will help us commit more resources to in-depth reporting and investigation, and to more frequent content that informs and inspires in print, online and on social media.
